Why did this happen to me? Hope Vs Faith Vs Love There are times in your life when you might say, “Why did this happen to me?” or “What have I ever done to deserve this?”. In a short answer. Nothing. The main issue was that you had hope. Hope and faith are nothing more than illogical reasonings and lies you tell your brain because your heart doesn't want to deal with the truth. It motivates you to keep trying whatever it is that you may be doing and to not give up. When one does nothing but love and hope for someone to change, who is to blame when they don't? Is it the other person's fault, or is it simply your fault for hoping they would and having faith in them?
